We are living in unprecedented turbulent and difficult days. It seems like the kingdoms of this world are collapsing. Our economy is shaky and unstable. The future is uncertain. How should we, as the Church (the corporate Body of Christ), respond to these things? 

The Bible talks about various times of similar circumstances. We can learn much from God’s Holy Word. 

The book of Exodus describes the plagues of God’s judgment coming down hard on the nation of Egypt. At the very same time, God’s covenant people, Israel, were in safe harbor in Goshen. They were not impacted by the things that were impacting everyone else. Why? Because they were in covenant with God. 

The Church is comprised of people who are also in covenant with God. This covenant is a new covenant, established on better promises (Heb 8:6). If ancient Israel was able to not only survive, but thrive during extremely difficult times, how much more should we, who are recipients of this better covenant? 

The question is how do we walk into all the great things Jesus already paid for on our behalf? 

This course, Kingdom Finances, addresses this very question as it relates to our finances.  

Jesus came preaching the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven. What is the gospel of the Kingdom? It is the good news that we are no longer limited by our own resources; we are no longer subject to the ups and downs of our local, national, and global economies. 

The Kingdom of Heaven has an infinite supply of absolutely everything we need in this life and for eternity. This abundant supply is immediately accessible to us and is constantly flowing. We just need to learn how to position ourselves in that never-ending and abundant flow.

Apostolic Teacher and Course Instructor

Steve Ragon

Steve Ragon brings decades of experience as an apostolic teacher to this course. He is an alumnus of Dallas Theological Seminary. Steve has served in senior leadership positions at multiple churches, and as Senior Pastor at Grace Awakening Church, in Cleburne, Texas, from 2003 to 2013. In 2013, Steve and his wife Lana launched The Rising to encourage, inspire, and equip the Body of Christ for the works of ministry. The Rising offers online courses, coaching, mentoring, teaching, training, praise and worship, as well as prophetic and apostolic ministry.
